Job Summary
Maintain continuous production during the swing shift by monitoring CNC machines, making offsets and adjustments, and overseeing Swiss lathes, CNC lathes, and mills. Run jobs on stainless steel and titanium materials, read blueprints and machining specs, and perform setups, tool changes, and troubleshooting. Inspect finished parts to ensure tight tolerances are met while keeping a clean and safe work environment. Communicate production issues to leadership. This role supports a precision manufacturing company specializing in high-tolerance prototype components for firearms and specialty equipment industries.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience working with Swiss lathes, CNC lathes, and mills
- Experience machining stainless steel, titanium, or other hard metals
- Ability to work independently on the swing shift
- Strong understanding of tolerances and precision machining
- Comfortable working in a prototype / short-run environment
- Reliable attendance
- Strong work ethic
