Job Summary
Pass medication, assist with self-administration, and supervise storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents' medications while ensuring compliance with Compass Senior Living policies. Lead Care Partners and Med Techs on shifts, guide them through assignments, and coach them to maintain skills per state regulations. Interview new team members, provide orientation, and collaborate with the RCC and Administrator for scheduling. Maintain continued adherence to the Quality Counts Policy and Procedure Manual.
Required Qualifications
- pass a criminal background check
- meet all health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations
- be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation
- good verbal communication
- the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English
- ability to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues
- desire and talent to work with a high-functioning, empowered team
- compassion, kindness, and collaboration skills to work with elders and their families
- computer literacy and proficiency in learning specified online programs
- organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a team environment
