Job Summary
Safely operates a heavy-duty Commercial vehicle on swing routes (CDL-Class B) and performs pre- and post-trip inspections, while complying with OSHA/DOT requirements. Maintains a clean, safe vehicle, communicates issues to Route Manager/Dispatch, completes customer tickets, and positions containers on customer property ensuring proper lids and unobstructed driveways. Participates in trainings, supports route efficiencies, and collaborates with Route Managers to address incidents, missed pickups, and customer requests. Qualified candidates typically have a CDL Class B, English fluency, pre-employment screening, and a High School Diploma or GED preferred. The role involves driving on residential, commercial, and construction environments and requires adherence to safety protocols and proper documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving experience within the last 7 years
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports and
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located and
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
- (CDL)-Class B
