Job Summary
Swine Finishing Service Personnel needed to act as liaison between Prestage Farms and Contract Growers of finishing sites. Provide technical assistance for maximum efficient production and serve as advisor on matters from herd health to personnel management. Responsibilities include visiting finishing sites weekly, ensuring maximum productivity of each finishing unit, checking health and mortality, and managing schedules for hogs coming in and going out. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR, be willing to work some nights and weekends, and reside near Bladen County to service farms. Requires Associate’s degree or equivalent (two-year college/technical school) or 6 months to 1 year of related experience, plus ability to follow company policies and safety rules; criminal records search and pre-employment drug screen required.
