Swindon and Wiltshire Children & Young Peoples Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (Fixed Term)

To work in a multi-agency setting providing proactive crisis intervention for children and young people (0-18) who are victims of sexual violence, supporting through the criminal justice process from report to court. Responsibilities include risk assessing and developing individual support plans, providing advocacy and information in high-risk situations, maintaining professional records, and collaborating with agencies (police, CAMHS, SARC, social services) to ensure accessible, victim-focused services. The CYP ISVA will travel across Swindon and Wiltshire, deliver face-to-face, telephone and email support, and contribute to developing the role of CYP ISVA within First Light. Essential requirements include a valid UK driving license and vehicle access; the role emphasizes safeguarding, diversity, and partnership working, with a hybrid working policy and organizational support for wellbeing.
