Job Summary
Conduct group and individual swim lessons in a safe and responsible manner, motivating members and guests to improve swim technique, water comfort, and self-confidence. Motivate members and guests to increase swim technique, comfort in the water are self-confidence. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with aquatics industry
- Swimming proficiency
- Minimum 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer)
- Minimum 18 years of age and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1year instructing swim lessons preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High School diploma preferred
