Swimming Instructor

Job Summary
The Swimming Instructor is responsible for conducting group and individual swim lessons in a safe manner, helping members and guests improve their swim technique and confidence. Ideal candidates will have familiarity with the aquatics industry, swimming proficiency, and at least one year of instructional experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Certification requirements include American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification for those under 18 or First Aid/CPR/AED for those over 18.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with aquatics industry
- Swimming proficiency
- Minimum of 1 year instructing swim lessons preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Minimum 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer); or
- Minimum 18 years of age and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
