Job Summary
Teach swim skills to kids and adults, helping them gain confidence in the water. Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests. This role requires at least 16 years of age, current safety certifications, and a passion for working with youth. Flexible hours are available, and no prior experience is necessary as free training will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Current certification YMCA Swim Lessons or ARC Water Safety Instructor, CPR, First Aid, AED and Oxygen certification or must successfully complete the YMCA’s Aquatics Academy training program resulting in certification
- Passion for working with diverse youth
- Ability to provide a high-quality of instruction using age-appropriate practices
- Meets physical qualifications required for certification in job
