Job Summary
Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events for adults and children while evaluating their ability to establish correct swim levels. Respond to member questions and maintain a safe, clean, and organized pool area. Promote and sell all Aquatics programs and services. Requires StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certification, plus the ability to swim 25 yards without stopping. Must work in a stationary position with occasional movement throughout the club. Required Qualifications
- Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
- Successfully complete and pass all Life Time courses upon hire
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs
- StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification
- BLS CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification (for Canada)
- Standard FA with CPR C (for Canada)

- Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience
