Job Summary
Instruct students on water safety and proper swim techniques using the Goldfish Swim School curriculum; after each 30 minute lesson, communicate progress to parents/caregivers; evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork; interact with parents/guardians about student development; maintain and ensure proper storage of pool equipment; assist with setup and cleanup tasks; participate in ongoing training including lifeguard certification; adhere to core values and foster a positive, GOLDEN experience for children and families. Your schedule includes consistent daytime, weekday evenings, and weekend daytime lessons with opportunities for leadership within 3-6 months.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work with children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to complete lifeguard, CPR & AED certification class as part of training and work scheduled shifts as a lifeguard
