Job Summary
Deliver swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum with consistency and a focus on student growth. Enforce safety rules on the pool deck daily and accurately evaluate student progress while using creative problem-solving to help them overcome challenges. Connect with parents after lessons to share updates and celebrate wins, and maintain all pool equipment including lane lines. Assist with light cleaning duties such as deck mopping and trash removal as needed. Ensure the pool deck is safe and clean before each shift. Available for evening and weekend shifts, this role supports our mission of making every child feel safe and confident in the water.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable, upbeat, and ready to show up with energy every shift.
- Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider, or similar.
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
Desired Qualifications
- Eagerness to obtain a Lifeguard certification and a desire to grow.
- Comfortable and confident in the water - swimming experience strongly preferred.
