Job Summary
Teach swim lessons to children and adults following the British Swim School program; instructs swimming lessons in accordance with training and program standards, maintaining certifications; support the Aquatics Manager; work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; in-water work environment; opportunities for training and advancement; strong emphasis on training and safety; enthusiastic, adaptable team member with customer-facing responsibilities and the goal of improving water survival skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, equivalent, or in the process of completion
- Must maintain certifications throughout employment
- Must complete all required British Swim School Aquatics-specific training and testing
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children
- Swimming experience 1-2 years (preferred)
- Customer service skills 1 year (preferred)
- Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) preferred (but can be obtained during training)
- Experience with British Swim School aquatics program (training provided)
