Job Summary
Oversee TYDE swim team operations by coaching assigned groups Monday through Thursday from 3:15–7:00 PM, delivering practices aligned with the club's training philosophy. Provide daily instruction and feedback to improve swimmers' technique and skills while maintaining a safe, positive environment. Establish open communication channels with parents, families, and the aquatic director, and collaborate with the Head Age Group Coach on meet schedules and program direction. Assist with program responsibilities including coaching approximately one designated meet per month. This role supports the competitive swimming program at various YMCAs, requiring USA Swimming certification and the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- USA Swimming certification required, or ability to obtain required USA Swimming certifications
- Must successfully complete required background checks
- Ability to work evenings weekends required
- Must be available Monday through Thursday from approximately 3:15–7:00 PM
- Coach approximately one selected swim meet per month, based on the team's competition schedule
Desired Qualifications
