Job Summary
Coaches the Club's competitive swim team, organizing all aspects of swim meets including scheduling participants, recording start times, and distributing ribbons. Attends practice sessions, coach meetings, and team activities while maintaining necessary records before each meet. Assists with set-up and clean-up, including rearranging pool furniture and equipment after events. Performs other tasks as required by the Aquatics Director. Requires current First Aid, CPR/AED, and Swim Coach Safety certifications. Seasonal, non-exempt hourly position from May 18th through June.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR/AED
- Current certification in Safety Training for Swim Coaches and/or Lifeguard Training
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to swim
- Ability to perform lifesaving
- Ability to use discretion and exercise good judgment
- Ability to acknowledge all members, guests and staff checking-in or walking past
- Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, both independently and as a part of a team
