Job Summary
Connect with members regularly to promote aquatic club activities and provide personalized towel and water service during facility use. Create a personalized experience by assisting in designing swim practices, maintaining supervision of groups, and monitoring swimmer development. Attend swimming meets and warm-up sessions as scheduled while helping to set up pools for training and oversee daily assignments to uphold club standards. Ensure aquatics facilities remain well-stocked, orderly, and accessible for non-swimming team members. This role reports to the Director Aquatics or Fitness Director and requires ASCA or USA swimming certification, plus CPR, first aid, and AED certification within the last six months. Full-time members enjoy medical, dental, and vision coverage alongside a 401(k) plan.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of experience coaching swimmers of various ages and skill levels
- Must be ASCA or USA swimming certified
- Certification in CPR, first aid, and AED within the last 6 months
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, members, and guests
- Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion
