Job Summary
Assist customers at the Sweet Retreat selling BYU Creamery Ice Cream inside the Deseret Book store. Cheerfully engage customers, monitor food supplies, keep the Sweet Retreat clean and organized, and maintain a high standard of excellence. Must be flexible to work various shifts including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays; require a food handler's permit or ability to obtain one. Strong customer-service orientation with basic cashiering and janitorial duties experience, and the ability to interact with customers in-person and over the phone. Team-oriented environment with an emphasis on providing a positive store experience.
Required Qualifications
- Food handler's permit required or ability to acquire one
- Ability to interact with customers in-person and over the phone on a day-to-day basis
- Superior customer service skills
- Basic cashiering skills
- Basic janitorial duties
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays (except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)
