Sweeper/Vacuum Truck Driver

Job Summary
Drive the truck machine to specified points while operating in all weather conditions, including rain, extreme heat, and cold. Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections to verify proper operation, make minor vehicle adjustments, and handle fueling and cleaning tasks. Complete necessary paperwork and adhere to traffic regulations, safe driving practices, and map directions. Maintain clear communication and follow detailed instructions while working around dirt, dust, and noise. Requires a valid Class A or B CDL, clean MVR, high school diploma, and at least one year of verifiable vacuum truck experience. Flexible schedule available for day shifts, night shifts, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A state issued valid Class B or A ,CDL and a clean MVR
- At least 1 year of verifiable work experience driving a Vacuum Truck
- Ability to read and follow instructions in English
- Ability to work any shift available (the day shift, the night shift and weekends as needed)
- Ability to work around dirt, dust, and noise associated with heavy equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
