Job Summary
Lead the IKEA Café, Bistro and Swedish Food Market at IKEA Damansara, driving revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational performance. Oversee food preparation and cash handling, ensure adherence to IKEA concepts and HACCP safety standards, and promote sustainability initiatives. Collaborate with the IKEA Food Management Team to strengthen cross-merchandising and communication between restaurant, café, and market. Demonstrate strong leadership to motivate and develop co-workers, manage costs and productivity, and excel in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment. Requires customer- and people-oriented mindset, excellent communication, and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in retail operations and merchandising is essential
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate, develop, and bring out the best in co-workers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Solid background in food service management, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, especially during peak operational periods
