SW Test Development Engineer 1

Dexcom SW Test Development Engineer 1 contributes to building quality into Dexcom CGM software by writing automated tests and performing tests throughout the development cycle. Responsibilities include developing software requirements and design specifications, designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test scripts, creating verification and validation test plans and reports with traceability matrices, recording and tracking issues, analyzing failures, and collaborating with development teams to investigate root causes and improve release processes. The role requires 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Python or other OOP languages, experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), understanding of SQL/NoSQL, automated API and UI testing, and familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes. Travel of 15-25% is anticipated. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and related experience are typical.
