Job Summary
IT Product & Test Engineer for Eurofighter Support Systems. Responsibilities include Requirements Capturing, test management and strategy, and testing automation/execution for the ASTECS In-Service Support Workflow Tool. Tasks span documenting requirements, creating and enriching user stories, acceptance criteria, and activity diagrams (within Enterprise Architect); performing manual and automated test runs; evaluating results and incorporating them into the software development process; and maintaining documentation such as release notes and user manuals. Qualifications emphasize a university degree in a relevant field, practical automated testing experience, ISTQB certification, experience with In-Service Support processes for flying weapon systems, Agile practice familiarity, and proficiency with Oracle/SQL, Confluence, Jira, UML, and QF-Test; proficiency in German and English is required.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline
- ISTQB Certification (or equivalent)
- Practical experience in automated testing
- Experience with In-Service Support processes, particularly flying weapon systems (e.g., Eurofighter) is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Good knowledge of Oracle/SQL
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, Enterprise Architect (UML) and QF-Test is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills in German and English
