Job Summary
Airbag SW Architect role with Bosch Global Software Technologies in India. Responsibilities include requirement engineering and its review, high-level and low-level design reviews, system and embedded software test specification reviews, and communicating architectural updates to stakeholders. Must demonstrate hands-on automotive software development in C, experience with real-time operating systems, and the ability to work on large/medium-scale projects. The role involves ensuring dependability requirements, participating in CCR estimation with the PM, mentoring SW leads and test teams, and applying BES-PE methods. Requires strong communication, Agile methodologies, and 10–15 years of relevant experience; BE degree in E&C or E& or Instrumentation. Desirable: model-based software development and problem/change management expertise.
Required Qualifications
- BE degree in E&C or E or Instrumentation
- 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in embedded systems
- Strong knowledge of C language for automotive software
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Experience with requirements engineering and agile methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on automotive SW development experience
- Knowledge of Model-based SW development (MBSD) is an asset
- Exposure to problem and change request management
- Ability to mentor SW leads/engineers and work in a team environment
