SVP- Private Credit Business Development

Senior individual contributor role leading business development and relationship management within Moody’s Private Credit sector across APAC, reporting to the MD, Global Head of Private Credit – Relationship Management. Lead business development efforts and provide strategic leadership for related commercial initiatives. Drive strategic initiatives leveraging AI-powered credit analytics and market intelligence tools to identify high-value opportunities and support data-driven decision-making. Execute proactive customer outreach with prioritized customers, bankers, and intermediaries through in-person and virtual meetings to promote Moody’s Ratings products and capabilities and secure new mandates. Develop deep understanding of Moody’s product suite to effectively market solutions, educate and mentor junior colleagues, and lead extensive discussions with mid- to senior-level issuers and prospective customers on Moody’s ratings processes. Represent Moody’s at internal and external conferences and events to strengthen market presence. Monitor market trends and client activity to identify new opportunities. Lead negotiations on terms and conditions with customers. Partner with Account Management to assess pricing and propose strategies. Ensure accurate maintenance of internal customer databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and market outreach. Act as a senior leader within the Business Development organization contributing to broader commercial strategy and execution.
