Job Summary
Lead all consumer, mortgage, and business lending operations, including underwriting, loan processing, documentation, and approvals. Develop and implement lending strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals. Oversee loan portfolio performance, credit quality, collections, and risk management while managing the department budget and participating in strategic planning and ALCO. Research and implement new lending products to support growth and represent the credit union within the community and industry. This executive role provides strategic direction for all lending functions at an Iowa credit union, focusing on member service objectives and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Executive lending leadership experience within a credit union or community financial institution
- Strong background in consumer, mortgage, and business lending
- Experience developing lending strategy, managing credit quality, and overseeing collections
- Knowledge of NCUA regulations and lending compliance
- Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
