Job Summary
Lead the modernization of enterprise cybersecurity capabilities through an AI-enabled, automation-first, engineering-led model. Define and execute security architecture strategy, Zero Trust adoption, and multi-cloud reference architectures while embedding secure-by-design principles across cloud, applications, and data. Own the lifecycle of security platforms, driving automation, tool rationalization, and the transition to a product-based operating model with defined SLAs. Transform IAM, vulnerability, and attack surface management into unified, intelligence-driven functions that reduce risk and improve compliance readiness. Partner with executive leadership to develop business cases, manage budgets, and provide board-level reporting on security posture and investment impact. Lead a global team of directors, architects, and engineers while establishing clear accountability and capability maturity roadmaps. Provide top-level on-call support as required, with compensation factored for this responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years' experience in a cybersecurity role
- at least 5 as head of senior most security architect
- Previous and progressive experience in a technical security leadership position
- Demonstrated experience modernizing security organizations
- Strong expertise in cloud-native security
- Strong expertise in Zero Trust
- Strong expertise in IAM
- Strong expertise in CTEM practices
- Experience integrating cybersecurity with AI/ML technologies
- Experience integrating cybersecurity with governance frameworks
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and large-scale programs
- Track record of delivering measurable improvements in risk reduction, efficiency, and security posture
- Disciplined thinker with structured approach to security architecture and strategic planning
- Inherent intellectual capability and curiosity to learn complex processes
- Proven thought leadership, strategic thinking and decision-making
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
