Job Summary
Develop and execute 3–5 year strategic plans for assigned service lines, driving market expansion, access optimization, and competitive differentiation. Account for system-level P&L performance by achieving margin improvement and cost-of-care optimization while partnering with Finance on capital planning. Convene and align leaders across hospitals, ambulatory sites, physician practices, and health plan partners to standardize care models, reduce unwarranted variation, and improve quality outcomes. Collaborate with medical group leadership to align incentives, support workforce planning, and advance team-based care models. Improve access metrics and seamless integration across settings while leading digital front-door, telehealth, and AI-enabled care initiatives. Identify new program development opportunities, evaluate market share, and lead service line marketing collaboration. Build high-performing leadership teams and champion Sentara's cultural attributes of integrity, collaboration, accountability, innovation, and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree required (MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent)
- 10+ years progressive executive healthcare leadership experience
- Experience leading system-wide service lines in a large integrated health system
- Strong understanding of hospital, ambulatory, and physician practice operations

- Experience across multiple markets preferred
