SVP Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary
Direct the overall financial health, stability, and long-term sustainability of the credit union by serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on financial performance, capital strategy, and liquidity. Lead asset liability management, liquidity management, interest rate risk modeling, and capital planning while overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. Direct the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and external/internal audit activities to ensure compliance with NCUA regulations and GAAP standards. Present financial reports, forecasts, and recommendations to the Board and executive leadership to support informed decision-making and organizational growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Minimum of 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights
- In-depth knowledge of credit union products and services, as well as competitor and potential products and services
- Strong project management skills to include multi-departmental initiatives that may require significant resource investment in learning new data analytics techniques and procedures
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Proficiency computer skills, including financial systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Does require occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
