Job Summary
Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner while accurately ring in all food and beverage orders and handling cash and credit card transactions. Stock and replenish stations, execute proper food delivery and table pre-bus, and communicate any questions or issues to the management team. Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work in proper uniform, and practice proper sanitation procedures regarding alcohol sale and service. Maintain complete knowledge of the food and bar menu, including liquor, beer, and wine, and participate in continuing education courses. Perform appropriate opening and closing duties, including disassembling, cleaning, and sanitizing workstations after every shift. Set up the next shift of teammates for success.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Stand for long periods of time
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering food and drink items to guests
- Obtain and update any required certifications
- Complete knowledge of the food and bar menu
- Complete understanding of host support staff procedures
- Maintain their tables and assist their guests throughout the visit
