Job Summary
Provide friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and hospitable service of food and beverage in accordance with established quality and time standards, while maintaining a high awareness of cleanliness in the restaurant. Responsibilities include arriving on time, accurately ringing in orders, stocking stations, assisting guests with menu questions including liquor, beer, and wine, handling cash/credit transactions, delivering and clearing tables, pre-busing and manicuring tables, communicating with management and coworkers, completing opening/closing duties, setting up the next shift, following sanitation and alcohol service regulations, participating in continuing education, maintaining product knowledge of food and bar menu, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for guests.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering food and drink items to guests
- Obtain and update any required certifications
