Job Summary
Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly, professional manner while accurately ringing in all food and beverage orders and handling cash and credit card transactions. Stock and replenish stations with polished silverware and glassware, execute proper food delivery and table pre-bus/manicure duties, and communicate any issues to management. Maintain complete knowledge of the menu and liquor, beer, and wine offerings to assist guests with pairing questions, while adhering to sanitation procedures and alcohol service regulations. Perform appropriate opening and closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing workstations, and participate in continuing education courses. Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in proper uniform, ready to work.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Stand for long periods of time
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering food and drink items to guests
- Obtain and update any required certifications
- Complete knowledge of the food and bar menu
- Complete understanding of host support staff procedures
- Maintain their tables and assist their guests throughout the visit
