Job Summary
Greet and seat guests in a hospitable, friendly, and timely manner while managing the reservation system to quote accurate wait times and prevent over or under-booking. Handle incoming telephone calls before the third ring using professional verbiage, direct calls to the proper department, and communicate important information to managers. Escort guests to assigned tables, maintain a clean entrance area and hostess stand, and assist with bussing tables when needed. Keep floors and aisles free of debris, provide guest directions, and answer any questions regarding menu items, price range, or daily events. Arrive on time for scheduled shifts wearing proper uniform, ensuring a positive start to the dining experience for all guests.
