Job Summary
The Dishwasher position involves maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen by washing dishes, silverware, pots, and pans, while adhering to health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include interacting with guests and coworkers professionally, setting up and breaking down the dishwashing machine, monitoring cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, operating kitchen equipment safely, and assisting in prep duties as needed. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to lift 50 lbs, and maintain relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Stand for long periods
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures
