Job Summary
Provide friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service for food and beverage following established quality and time standards. Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant, including tables, stations, and equipment. Support servers and bartenders by maintaining tables, delivering correct food and drinks, and assisting with special cleaning projects. Assemble and disassemble workstations promptly, stock supplies, and ensure adequate ice levels. Execute proper food placement and removal at all tables, polish silverware and glassware, and clean all necessary utensils. Communicate guest concerns and issues to management while observing all state and federal laws regarding food and alcohol service. Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read English
- Stand for long periods
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering food and drink items to guests
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification
- Maintain a current TABC certification
- Practice proper sanitation procedures
- Follow regulations regarding alcohol sales and service
- Complete knowledge of the food and bar menu
- Complete understanding of host stand procedures
- Complete understanding of support staff procedures
- Follow all safety guidelines set out by the restaurant
- Follow all checklists and perform all necessary tasks required of your position
