Job Summary
Busser/food runner role providing friendly, efficient service and supporting servers and bartenders. Responsibilities include arriving on time, following uniform guidelines, assembling/disassembling workstation, maintaining cleanliness at the table and station, stocking ice, observing laws for service of food/alcohol, delivering orders accurately, polishing silverware/glassware, communicating with guests and coworkers, following checklists, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards. Requires knowledge of the menu, host stand procedures, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reading English; must maintain Food Handler’s and TABC certifications and comply with E-Verify. Flexible schedules with PTO and benefits after certain criteria. Prioritizes professional appearance and teamwork to contribute to a high-quality dining experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read English
- Stand for long periods
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Properly utilize a tray to assist in delivering food and drink items to guests
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sales and service
