Job Summary
Bartender at Sixty Vines – provide friendly, knowledgeable service following established quality and time standards; arrive on time for shifts, maintain bar cleanliness, and prepare drinks, garnishes, syrups, and mixers per recipes; assist guests with menu questions and continue learning about liquor, beer, and wine; handle cash/credit transactions per company standards; set up and clean the bar, restock glassware and inventory, and perform opening/closing duties; collaborate with coworkers and management in a positive, professional manner; comply with sanitation procedures and alcohol service regulations; participate in ongoing education and maintain knowledge of food and bar menus, including The Keeper's bar recipe specifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Stand for long periods of time be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service
