Job Summary
Bartenders provide friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and hospitable service following established quality and time standards; prepare drinks, garnishes, mixers, and syrups per recipes; assist guests with menu questions and maintain bar cleanliness; handle cash/credit transactions; manage opening/closing duties, restock inventory, and ensure proper sanitation; continuously study liquor, beer, and wine to grow knowledge; participate in continuing education courses; maintain knowledge of food and bar menus and be proficient with The Keeper's recipe specifications.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification; follow sanitation procedures and regulations
