Job Summary
Dishwasher washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment; maintains a clean, organized dishroom and supports kitchen operations. Responsibilities include loading/unloading the dish machine, monitoring water temperature for sanitary wash cycles, storing/dishing ware, keeping the dishroom and supplies stocked, trash removal, and assisting as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Requires ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment; standing for long periods; and lifting up to 60 pounds. No prior restaurant experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- No previous restaurant experience required
- Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
- Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
- Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds
