Job Summary
Lead the strategy, development, and implementation of digital systems tracking product lifecycle data for Vertiv's Digital Product Passport, EU Battery Regulation, and Extended Producer Responsibility programs. Define supplier qualification criteria, manage structured data collection processes for material composition and carbon footprints, and oversee technical integration with PLM, ERP, and MES systems. Bridge cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance, manage unique identifier exchanges like QR codes, and align data requirements with procurement and engineering processes. Own program coordination for EUBR implementation and develop subject matter expertise on sustainability standards and circular economy principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant Engineering management experience
- Knowledge and understanding of EU DPP regulation
- Knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to learn Commercial Product Information Management Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, data traceability tools, and serialization/QR technology
- Understanding of sustainability standards, circular economy principles, and upcoming EU regulations regarding product data
- Ability to map out long-term product data roadmaps and align them with business objectives
- Experience with Bill of Material management systems (ex. Oracle PD PLM, Agile, TeamCenter)
- English, fluent written and spoken
- Strong analytical skills - should have the ability to evaluate, analyze and present data to senior management teams
- Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

- Empathetic collaborator whose style builds commitment and engagement
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, or related discipline, or experience in Data Architecting preferred
