Job Summary
Prepare for and comply with global, mandatory reporting requirements by defining processes, identifying controls, and leading activity reporting. Define, maintain, and evaluate the Sustainability Reporting for Finance framework while developing supporting documentation to ensure adherence to regulations. Partner with associates across the business to develop and oversee Sustainability initiatives, ensuring appropriate guidance is followed and potential gaps are identified for remediation. Manage reporting calendars and coordinate requirements across functions to ensure governance and high-quality data. Lead significant project management responsibilities to roll out initiatives according to timelines, escalating challenges promptly. Drive positive change and improvement at a fast pace to maintain high standards of internal control, governance, risk, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business, or Sustainability)
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, finance, IT, sustainability or risk & control roles
- Focus for at least 3+ years in roles practicing the technical knowledge and skills listed above
- Experience with privately owned, global, decentralized organization
- Experience with Big 4 public accounting, CPG, manufacturing, or service-based industries
- Experience with sustainability reporting processes and controls, including opportunities for automation and standardization
- Experience with one or several of the following: CSRD, CDP, ISSB, EU Taxonomy, COSO, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Ability to influence without authority
- Organizational and project management skills to support the management of a global initiative requiring interfaces with many associates around the world
