Job Summary

Sustainability Regulatory Analyst at HP focusing on detecting, analyzing, influencing and enabling compliance with sustainability regulations (WEEE, batteries, packaging, eco design, repair, accessibility, waste shipment, materials, climate, ESG, and the circular economy); develop policy analysis and compliance instructions, maintain roadmaps, liaise with industry associations, stakeholders, and policy makers, and coordinate global regulatory insights across regions. Role requires passion for sustainability, strong communication, policy understanding, and robust project management in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Onsite three days per week with occasional travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a significant sustainability or environmental policy focus (eg Geography, Environmental Policy, Environmental Management, Environmental and Business, Environmental Law or equivalent)
  • Typically, 4-7 years’ experience in a sustainability, policy or compliance role
  • Language skills: English mastery; Italian and/or German and/or French are a plus
  • Proven project management skills to lead projects and programs with team members from diverse technical backgrounds
  • Ability to collaborate successfully coordinate and direct virtual, matrixed teams and resources to manage multiple projects and deadlines and solve complex problems
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated to make progress towards goals autonomously as needed
  • Willingness to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
  • Experience or understanding of productivity software and tools including CoPilot and other AI tools, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, results, and requests at the senior management level
  • Education and Experience: 4-7 years’ experience in a sustainability, policy or compliance role
  • Salary: $83,000 to $127,800 annually (United States) and details vary by location
