Job Summary

Sustainability Projects Engineer focused on leading sustainability initiatives and data analysis to support North America operations as part of Crown’s Twentyby30 program. Responsibilities include monitoring roadmaps and five-year project investments, coordinating CAPEX projects aligned with sustainability goals, disseminating best practices across plants, collaborating with EHS and Quality to ensure environmental compliance and performance tracking, leading workshops on climate action and energy optimization at manufacturing sites, facilitating ad-hoc environmental topics (water, fuel reduction), supporting Product Carbon Footprint data analysis, participating in customer meetings, and supporting global projects and reporting (OneStream, Sweep) to track energy, water, and waste data and progress toward internal sustainability targets. Required skills include strong Excel and PowerBI capabilities, data analysis, effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, and a self-motivated, team-oriented approach. Experience: 3-5+ years in Operations with exposure to Sustainability and Environmental topics within the Manufacturing (Packaging) industry. Knowledge in energy equipment management, water/wastewater systems, GHG accounting and reporting, CAPEX project PARs, decarbonization pathways, and cross-functional collaboration.
