Job Summary
Lead the delivery and ongoing development of Crafting a Brighter Future, our company-wide sustainability strategy, while driving engagement to embed these goals into day-to-day operations and long-term planning. Manage sustainability reporting, data collection, and compliance requirements, including annual reporting and carbon disclosures, while monitoring performance against agreed ESG targets and providing regular updates to leadership and the Board. Work alongside business teams to identify improvement opportunities, support risk management by identifying emerging legislation, and act as the internal subject matter expert for sustainability matters. Deliver training, awareness programmes, and communications to build understanding, manage sustainability events and industry submissions, and collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and partners to drive positive impact across the value chain.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in sustainability, ESG or responsible business, either in house or consultancy
- A strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, reporting requirements and best practice
- Experience collecting, analysing and interpreting data to drive decision making
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels of an organisation
- Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering initiatives through to completion
- A proactive and collaborative approach with a genuine passion for sustainability
