Job Summary
Grant Thornton is seeking a Sustainability Manager with a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in GHG Accounting and project management, to deliver sustainability initiatives for clients in the financial services sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a sustainability related discipline
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Accounting
- Minimum of 5+ years direct work experience in a programme/project management capacity
- Professional experience in the development of Net Zero strategies
- In depth knowledge of climate-related standards
- Demonstrated understanding of carbon markets
- Strong knowledge of climate disclosure frameworks
- Knowledge of evolving sustainability regulations
- Professional experience within at least one relevant discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in managing change in regulatory, strategic, digital and change management.
- Project Management qualification (such as PRINCE2 or PMP)
