Sustainability Manager

Job Summary
Develop and enhance the Group's Sustainability Strategy, ESG governance framework, and data management processes. Lead climate change initiatives including risk assessments, GHG inventory management, Net Zero planning, and renewable energy programmes. Oversee sustainability reporting for Bursa Malaysia, NSRF, IFRS S1, and IFRS S2 disclosures while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 37001, 39001, and 45001 standards. Identify, implement, and monitor ESG initiatives; manage programme budgets, resources, and team coordination. Deliver ESG training and engage internal and external stakeholders to refine strategies. Conduct sustainability audits and support quality assurance practices aligned with stakeholder expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sustainability reporting, ESG governance, or ESG disclosure
- Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks, ESG standards, and disclosure requirements
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- In-depth understanding of sustainability practices, ESG principles, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret research, analyse complex information, and translate findings into practical business recommendations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
