Sustainability Junior Data Analyst (Open to Fresh Graduates)

Job Summary
Conduct desk research and analysis on companies' management of environmental and social risks and compliance with international norms. Learn ESG trends and industry-specific issues while attending to internal and client queries to ensure data aligns with methodology and policy guidelines. Comply with established work process standards, meet pre-determined turn-around goals, and perform root-cause analysis when data issues are identified. Update internal documents for performance metrics monitoring and maintain appropriate paper and electronic files per retention policies. Participate in working committees and projects alongside core responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent reading comprehension and English language skills in both written and oral
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Geology, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, International Studies, or any equivalent/related course
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge and experience in using MS Office
- Excellent English communication (both oral and written) and reading comprehension skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines
- Fast learner, able to master new concepts, theories, ideas and processes with ease
- Willingness to work beyond traditional working hours/days as required by the business
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in data collection and analysis, or knowledge in ESG and business research would be an advantage
