Sustainability Internship: Sustainability Analyst (non-thesis)

Job Summary
Conduct daily support for global sustainability programs covering nature, circular economy, eco-design, and climate initiatives. Improve and automate sustainability processes for performance management while researching reporting standards on biodiversity, water, and environmental footprint. Prepare external reports on Philips' interdependencies with nature and maintain internal knowledge bases for employee training. Drive nature-based solutions and climate resilience in manufacturing sites. Requires a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business, or Economics, with strong analytical skills and experience in AI workflow automation. Full-time presence of at least 32 hours weekly in Amsterdam, with a monthly allowance of €500-€700 gross.
Required Qualifications
- Studying towards your Master degree in a relevant field like Environmental Sciences, or Engineering/Business/Economics
- Strong affinity with Sustainability, and knowledge about the Sustainability sector
- Structured, pro-active and independent working attitude
- Analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
- Excellent English verbal and written skills
- Weekly Presence: 40h (minimum 32h)
- Location: Philips Amsterdam
- Duration: at least / 6 months
- Type: Internship (non-thesis)
- For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week
- Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AI and workflow automation (experience with ChatGPT-Codex and MS PowerAutomate is a preference)
