Sustainability Forester

Lead local sustainability compliance at Drax Biomass pellet plants by actively participating in internal and external third-party audits. Conduct in-woods field inspections, source desk reviews, and Rapid Risk Assessments to ensure feedstock production adheres to Best Management Practices and certification requirements. Engage with the forest industry and local conservation partners while facilitating supplier questionnaires to align sustainability expectations. Serve as the sustainability point of contact for the fibre procurement team and support the Sustainability Manager with ESG and annual reporting data. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Forestry or Natural Resources, applied knowledge of forest management, and proficiency in Excel.
