Sustainability Forester

Lead local sustainability compliance at Drax Biomass pellet plants by actively participating in internal and external third-party audits. Conduct in-woods field inspections and source desk reviews, analyzing Rapid Risk Assessments to ensure feedstock production adheres to Best Management Practices, certification requirements, and company policies. Collaborate with the forest industry, including SFI Implementation Committees, and local conservation partners while facilitating supplier questionnaire reviews to align sustainability expectations. Serve as the sustainability point of contact for the fibre procurement team and support the Sustainability Manager in providing critical information for ESG and annual reporting. This role supports Drax's goal of becoming a world leader in sustainable biomass sourcing within the Monroe, LA area.
