Job Summary
Collect, analyze, and report carbon emission data across transportation and logistics activities while ensuring compliance with the GHG Protocol and GLEC Framework. Develop databases and software tools to streamline reporting, coordinate with operational groups for data accuracy, and support decarbonization initiatives involving renewable fuels, energy efficiency, and waste reduction. Collaborate internally and externally to promote sustainability practices, assist with annual sustainability surveys and reports, and conduct research on emerging trends to provide actionable insights and policy updates by geography. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, or Sustainability, two years of business-related sustainability experience, and proficiency in data analytics tools like SQL and PowerBI. The salary range is $65,180.00-$97,760.00.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Data Science, Engineering, Sustainability or other related field
- 2+ years Business related sustainability or ESG education or experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience preferred with carbon emission reporting software or frameworks (GLEC framework, GHG protocol, EcoTransIT, Lune or similar)
- Experience preferred with data analytics or data visualization software (Excel, SQL, PowerBI)
- Must be detail oriented as well as proactive and self-motivated
- Passion for sustainability and decarbonization
- A team player who works well with others
- A strong work ethic with an appreciation for ownership, independence, accountability and autonomy in your role
