Job Summary
Sort recyclables, compostables, and landfill materials daily and post-event, inspecting items to ensure proper placement and retrieving incorrectly sorted materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by sanitizing the Sustainability Center before, during, and after shifts while adhering to standard operating and safety procedures for all equipment. Work weekends, evenings, and holidays in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This part-time role supports the Operations department in implementing sustainable practices at the Moody Center venue.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a strong work ethic and sense of teamwork
- Must have acute attention to detail and ability to abide by all rules and safety precautions
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
