Job Summary
Sustainability Consultant - Regulatory Compliance project role focusing on developing tailored solutions for clients’ sustainability challenges, guiding project teams from conception through implementation, and staying abreast of evolving regulatory standards (e.g., CSRD, LkSG, CSDDD, EUDR, PPWR) and trends in environmental protection, waste management, and human rights across supply chains. The role emphasizes acting as a trusted client advisor, supporting new business development, and mentoring colleagues within project teams. Fluency in English and the ability to quickly comprehend complex topics, coupled with strong analytical and strategic skills, are required.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree (M.A.) in sustainability, environment, or management or comparable qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in corporate consulting or related field with environmental/climate protection and/or supply chains and human rights
- Fluent in English
- Experience with regulations and standards related to sustainability, environmental/climate protection, and/or supply chains and human rights
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and in teams, structured approach
- Proficiency with Excel
